About St. John's Foundation

For one hundred and sixty-three years St. John’s has helped serve the needs of its neighbors. One of the ways we do that is through supporting community based non-profits through the St. John’s Foundation. Our congregation’s heritage may best be described as:

​

  • Commitment and courage to address changing needs in the congregation and community.

  • Collaboration to bring about those changes that will have positive impact on ourselves and on others.

  • Collective faith and trust in God and one another that we can accomplish what we have set forth to do.

 

St. John’s Endowment Foundation was created by individuals who are grateful for the many blessings they have received and who feel a need to express their appreciation for God’s love.

Apply for a Grant​

If you are a non-profit dedicated to doing good in the world you are eligible to apply for a grant from St. John’s Foundation.

 

Your grant application must include:

 

  • Name, address and contact information of the organization, group or individuals requesting the grant.

  • Date of request.

  • Amount of grant being requested

  • A concise description of how the funds will be used and the anticipated impact/value to the community.

  • The total budget for the project/activity including projected income sources and expenses together with a schedule.

  • What other sources of funding are being sought and the reason why St. John’s Foundation was selected.

  • Proof of the applicant’s tax exempt status
