Coffee After the Service

From Plumbers to Politics

Lifelong friendships have been formed through coffee and fellowship after worship. People are invited to share about their week, discuss gardening, politics or current events, and even get recommendations on a good plumber. As a Christian community we believe life is better when we do it together.

Adult Bible Study

Join us for an Adult Bible Study where we delve into questions and wonder about faith and the Bible. What is the Bible? What does it mean to be Lutheran? What are the core messages of the Bible? What does it mean to be a member of St. John’s? How do we read scripture?

We will meet most Sunday evenings from 5:30-6:45 starting September 29th and going through February where we will switch to meeting Wednesday evenings before our soup supper and Holden Evening Prayer.  At the end of the study participants will have the opportunity to join St. John's as full members, or affirm their faith through the affirmation of baptism.

A light dinner of pizza and salad will be served. Please contact Vica-Etta Steel if you are interested in learning more or in joining the learning.
